U of M profs want university to drop disciplinary action against minority students

President Kaler is striking back at the students from the collective "Whose Diversity?" who organized the occupation of Morrill Hall last February. First he had the students arrested. Now he is pressing ahead with a formal disciplinary action against two of them, Rahsaan Mahadeo and David Melendez. Over 150 faculty members are urging Kaler to reverse course.

Fox 9 has the story.  And if you are a faculty member at the U, you can sign a petition of support here.
