Since the only thing that the University of Minnesota appears to respond to is money...

"Since the only thing that UMN appears to respond to is money, why would Gov. Dayton reward UMN, facing ethics charges, with $30 million, until they answer the citizens of Minnesota honestly? Shouldn’t the Board of Regents be responsible to the citizens of Minnesota, to ensure that research conducted at the UMN is transparent and ethical, rather than refusing a truly independent investigation of seemingly unethical research practices? Where is the oversight and leadership at the UMN?"

Writing on the Forbes blog, Dr. Judy Stone asks why the governor is rewarding the University of Minnesota Medical School for research misconduct.
