It's hard to know how to react to New York magazine reporter Kevin Roose's article, "One-Percent Jokes and Plutocrats in Drag: What I Saw When I Crashed a Wall Street Secret Society." Outrage? Maybe. Envy? Not exactly. The whole affair seems unfunny, humiliating and kind of sad. I mean, is this really what a billion dollars buys? Singing hedge fund managers in cocktail dresses and lipstick, making desperate jokes about Hillary Clinton?
